Question
Hello James,
My son is leaving June 2nd for BMT in the Air Force Reserves. He has chosen load master for his career field. When he gets back, he plans on attending college to get his degree. My question is this, is there any flight crew jobs available for officers, and if not, what would be his best option once he receives his degree?

There are several officer positions available in the flight fields. Pilot is the most well known, but there is also navigator and battle management officer. As far as what is the best option, that I can't answer, as I was never an officer. My area of expertise is Air Force enlisted aircrew operations. I am sorry I can not be of further service to you.
