Question
Can I get into the the air force active duty if i have a GED? If not, what branch of the military can I get into?

Answer
Dear Lindsey --

If there is a enlistment billet available and you meet the standards, you can enlist with a GED in any service.  You will not be considered as high a quality recruit as one with a degree from high school, but excellent performance on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) can make up some of that quality.

There are likely to be more opportunities in the Army for someone with a GED, but a GED is acceptable for enlistment in all the military services including the Air Force.

Good luck to you.
