Cynthia, this is a follow up to your reply on 4/18/09 regarding advice for my son to apply for a medical waiver for his Hypothyroidism, Great news! The MEPS Dr.s came back with an approval...he is good to go and can now return back down to MEPS to finish the USMC enlistment process! Thanks for advice and attention in this matter.

Congratulations to your son.  I wish him much success as a Marine.  I know you must be quite proud of him.
