Question
Hi-
When I was 16 I was charged with two counts of 3rd degree assault (felonies). One count was dropped right away.  The other I was offered what is called a deferred disposition.  I completed the terms of deferred disposition and the charge was then dismissed.  Do these count as felony convictions that will require a waiver when applying for PLC, or will they not affect the application.

Answer
Hi J

Since they were all dropped eventually, it seems to me that you should be in the clear...however, as Ive seen over the years in regards to OSO selections, each case tends to  be different...your best bet is to get in touch with your local OSO and explain the situation to him . Good luck!
