Careers: Military--Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard/SSI (Combat Patch) Qualifications

Question
Do members of the Navy, Air Force, and Marines qualify for Army combat patches, if they served and deployed with one of those 3 branches prior to joining the Army?  If so, is there a website where we this information can be retrieved?  Or who would they contact on an installation for qualifications?  Thanks  Joe

Answer
You would have had to get orders from the Army unit awarding the patch to a non-Army unit. I dont think there's a website or anything that shows these as they're usually just memorandums drawn up and handed out. The installation IG may be able to shed some light on the issue, but its a long shot.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
