Question
i know someone in army reserves who was being deployed to iraq, she called her co and said  she will kill herself before going over there...now she and her husband are not showing up to drills--what will happen to her if they find her?

Answer
She will be in a serious amount of trouble, as will he. There are numerous crimes under military law that she can be charged with, especially since she is going AWOL in order to evade being deployed. She will be found because as a deserter her Social Security number will be entered into databases and she'll have a warrant out for her arrest, as will her husband. If they don't start showing up to drills and resolving this in an honorable way, this could get very nasty for them.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
