Careers: Military--Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard/arthroscopic shoulder surgery

Question
1.5 years ago I had arthroscopic surgery on my left shoulder due to a suspicious looking MRI after a fall.  The surgery found nothing abnormal.  My strength in my left shoulder is equal to my right and there have been no problems with it.  I am in the process of applying for commission in Navy Nurse Corps and was wondering if this would disqualify me.  I am currently half way through my college with a gpa of 3.9 and will qualify well on all physical fitness levels.
Thank-you so much for your time in answering this.

Answer
Hi Charity

To the best of my knowledge, you should/will be fine. Since the MRI came back looking alright and you have such a high gpa (congrats by the way!) I can see no reason why you would have any issue with the application process. Best of luck!
