Hi, I am prior navy with 4 years in, I would like to know how i can become a navy officer in the legal field and what the requirements are and where to begin. I have a honorable discharge, no physical problems and i have recently passed a military medical physical,(that's because i was going to go into the reserves but i would like to go active if possible). Please help I am very serious and will be willing to start ASAP.

Answer
Dear Maurice --

To become an officer, you must have at least a bachelors degree from an accredited US university or college.  To become a legal officer you must also have your law degree and have passed a bar exam in at least one state, or the federal bar exam.

If you have your bachelors degree and are ready to go to law school, you can apply for a student law program.

Good luck to you.  Thank you for your prior service.
