Question If i were to join the AirForce whats the shortest period of time i can sign up for just incase i didn't enjoy it and rather would go to school?

Usually the shortest enlistment tour length in the Air Force is four years. Sometimes, you can get a shorter tour length, if the services are having trouble recruiting. The Air Force rarely has trouble recruiting.
The best time of year to get a special tour length would be after the change of the fiscal year, 1 Oct. The services will want to get a good start on the new recruiting year, and may be more willing to negotiate with you.
All the services have made their recruiting goals for fiscal year 2009.
