QUESTION: Colonel,
i went to see the heart doctor like i've said before! he said i have a very small heart murmur sound. VSD patients usually have large sounds which would be a big no to the military. he wants to do an echocardiogram tomorrow to further enhance my chances of getting in. what do you think?
thanks
AnswerDear Pete --
Unfortunately, my opinion won't matter, only the military medical doctors' opinions will matter. Depending on your EKG you may be eligible for a medical waiver, but again, the military medical doctors, specifically Navy doctors must make that determination.
Still wish you the best of luck in getting a clean bill of health and a waiver, so you can achieve your dream.
