Question
Colonel,

thanks for the encouraging words. one person says yes, one says no of getting in. not sure what other resources are left. i have a retired captain writing a recommendation as well. doc says its so small of murmur to me that is a good sign. i have applied to administrative officer and contract intern. no word yet!

Answer
Dear Pete --

Best of luck with the Navy medical waiver.

For the intern jobs, you won't hear anything until the position advertisement closes.  Then it could be a week or two before you are contacted for an interview.

Keep looking each week to see if new offers in areas you wish to work, become open.  The more applications you have in, the better your chance of getting an interview.

Also review your resume, and be sure it shows your education and experience in the best light possible.

Good luck.
