Question
Hi, thank you for your service! I have a bachelor's degree in business and will take the RN boards in August. Since there are no Marine nurses I am wondering how I can use my nursing education as a Marine?

Further, in what ways can I increase my chances of becoming an officer? Besides education, which I have, what other areas do they consider?

Thanks!

Brent

Answer
If you really want to use your nursing experience and work with marines I would reccommend looking into the Navy's Combat Corpsmen program. However, if you want to be a marine officer then check out this website www.marineofficer.com
Set up an interview with your local OSO (officer selection officer) and he can answer most of your questions. If you want me to fill in the blanks once youve met with him, then Id be more than happy to help in any way I can.
