Question
I have 2 children and i am married but my two kids are not my husbands. When i enlisted my paperwork was filled out as married but i was not able to put my 2 children because i did not have their bircertifica at the time. I was told that i can always put them later, which that is was I did. Before I got to reception I gave my kids birth certificate and because i did not have a family care waiver I had to return to my home state. Now it is 2 months and they still had not approved my family care waiver. I call my recruiters boss every week but they do not give me an answer. I currently im not in the US I am waiting for their answer so I can go to the  US to do my bookcamp. Im desperate, I need an answer. Who should I call because they dont answer my calls no more.

Answer
Tatiana:

At present the waiver process is lengthy.  Expect a long turnaround and six months isn't unusual, with this many children you are likely to be denied.  You just have to have patience and wait, there is nothing more you CAN do at this point.  There is no one, other than your recruiter, that you should call, because doing so will just annoy them and likely as not your paperwork will get 'lost' or 'misplaced' and you'll be starting over.

Expertise

Questions relating to US Marine Corps; rank, awards, uniforms, career choices. I can also help people spot and expose fakes (people pretending to be Marines or have awards they didn`t earn). Considering the Marines as a career? Or another branch, like the Air National Guard? Drop me a line. HOWever..know that I am NOT a recruiter. I can offer my expert opinion and advice, but can't (and won't) over rule what a recruiter says, they are the 'on duty' expert.
