Question
Hello, I'm prior service navy of almost ten years about to join up in the Army. My question is a two part question: Do you think 35F MOS will be available? and Will I attend Basic Training or Warrior Transition Course? thank you very much for your time sir,

Answer
You would have to ask your career counselor/recruiter about the MOS availability; particularly since that MOS requires a security clearance and you'll have to be eligible for it prior to being granted the MOS. As for the BCT vs. WTC.. I believe you'll have to do basic training to give you a foundation in Army terminology and tactics since they vary from the Navy's so drastically. You'll, again, have to see if your recruiter has any new incentives that say otherwise.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
