Question
How long do i have to wait to join the navy after being discharged from the army with an RE code 3 and separation code JFV?

Aaron,
The wait-time is different for each Service, but that's usually for re-enlistment into the same Service.  Normally there is no wait when entering a different Service.

Individuals with an RE Code of "3" can normally reenlist in the Army or another Service, but will probably require a waiver to be processed.  Your Navy recruiter can process the waiver for you.  As you know, the separation code of JFV means exactly, "Physical condition, not a disability, interfering with performance of duty."  Hopefully you've overcome that problem by now.

See your Navy recruiter right away.  You may have to wait until 1 Oct when the new quotas for 2010 are released.  This late in fiscal year 2009 re-enlistment quotas are probably full.
