Question
I wanted to know, what are the qualifications or educational background that one needs to meet to enlist as an E4 in the USN? I had the understanding that one needs to meet certain college education and related experience, coupled with schooling in either the academy or speciallty schooling with the navy for a certain period of time.

Generally, if a person has at least 2 years of college, they can enlist as an E-3 or E-4.
Because of your college experience you'll be given better jobs with more responsibility and higher pay.

Talk to your local recruiter and he can tell you which career fields are currently open to you.
