Question
HI ,

Am 19  years old ,pursuing diploma in aeronautical engineering. Will complete this two years. I want to join Army, Navy/Airforce/Marines. Which exam i suppose to take after completing my course.

Answer
Hi Chetana,

Your message header says you are in India. Are you a US Citizen?

If not, I'm afraid that, in order to join the United States Military, you must either be a citizen of the United States, or you must be a legal immigrant, currently living in the United States (with a "green card").

The U.S. Military cannot and will not assist with the immigration process. In order to enlist, you must immigrate first, using the normal United States immigration policies, procedures, and quotas. After you immigrate, and you have your "green card," you can enlist in the US Military by visiting any Military recruiting office (located in all major US cities). For details about immigration, I recommend you visit the About.com Immigration Issues website at: http://immigration.about.com

Hope this helps!
