first, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. i am getting separated due to patterns of misconduct. i was told that i was getting a general with honorable conditions and would receive my gi benefits. well i just got my re and spd codes and they are re 4 and jka. i was wanting to know with these codes to i still qualify for the gi bill and or what other benefits.

Your separation code of JKA means exactly, "Discreditable Incidents".  Your Re-entry code of RE-4 means exactly, "Not recommended for reenlistment".  Individuals with an RE Code of "4" are normally not eligible to reenlist in their service, nor join another service. If you indeed have a General under Honorable Conditions you still qualify for some benefits.

You need to contact the VA at 1-800-827-1000 and to discuss exactly what benefits you're interested in.
