Can the military pull one back if the person developed a medical problem while in active duty service and gets a medical discharge, but 2 years later, does not have the medical problem anymore?

Unlikely at best. Pretty much once you get a medical discharge, that's it. Esp. if you are drawing disability from the VA for it. I know a Marine who spent almost ten years trying to get back into the Corps after getting out on a medical, and he had to prove he was fully healed, give back ALL his disability payments he'd rec'ved, get numerous letters from different doctors, THEN enlist into the Naval Reserve, do a tour overseas, come back, get out of that, then was finally able to get back on active duty as a Marine. So...I'd say the answer to your question is "No". Or, at least, I've never heard of it happening.

Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years.
