Question
hey im curently in the dep program .. i got my job to be an operations specialist but i wanted to put in a dar request if i do will it change my job options .. oh yea and i wanted to take the asvab over againg i got a 47 do you think its a goodidea?? i mean i heard if you score over a 50 you got more job options..

Answer
Dear Perlita -

It makes sense to retake your ASVAB.  A higher score can open opportunities for you now, and in the future.

I do not understand what your DAR acronym means, so I cannot answer that part of your question.

If you are in DEP, you already have a signed contract.  If you want to make changes to that contract, be cautious, because that allows the Army to make changes to their part of the contract.  Please read and understand every clause in your contract, before you agree to and sign a new one.

Please write back with clarifications, or if you have additional questions.  Good luck to you.
