Question
i was discharge from basic training in 2004 didn't complete basic so i didn't get ait, i was found with flat feet at MEPS but previously never had problems. the road marches started to bother me, which during reception i was given the wrong boots (i know this cause i recall the specialist telling me they didn't have my size) wish i had documentation... I've talked to us army, us army reserve, national guard, and air force recruiters.. I'm pretty much getting a run around. i have documentation from a foot specialist that i have no physical limitations with my feet.. i am currently a firefighter and haven't had any problems.. so far MEPS Jackson, MS and MEPS Memphis TN have shot me down for the physical... i want to serve my country, i need help getting back in

Answer
I can't for any reason think of why they'd turn you away like that. I'm sorry but I can't give you any other advice other than to gather documentation, appeal to the VA for an upgrade of your RE3 code, and then keep trying with MEPS. Most recruiters are really trying to make their monthly numbers so talk to one and have him give you a straight answer. Something seems fishy.  Hope you get the answers you want.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
