Question
I'm a 92F. I've been doing 88M forever though. 4 deployments actually, 3 of which as a Sergeant. I've been rated as I'M on 3 NCOERS so far, more to come. Is there a type of 4187 to change my MOS too 88M? That would be awesome!

Most Petroleum Supply Specialists I know would jump at the chance to get out and dive, but that's a lot of deployments.
Have you talked to your Retention NCO? Also, your Brigade or Division Re-enlistment office has Career Counselors who can help you complete the proper forms. DA Form 4187 can be used for Reclassification, but is not the only document required. They have a list on what jobs are understrength and need people to fill slots. Before you see them you should have some idea of the MOS you'd like to try for. If you really want to be a Motor Transport Operator you need to hope it is currently undermanned or you may be out of luck. It helps that you're already doing the job now and have ERs to prove it.

| Comment | I thank you for your time and service. My Squadron RETNCO knows nothing of the sort, so the Regiment will be the nesxt step. Further, people want out of 92F mainly because 798 has been the PZ1 cutoff score for every month since I joined the army in 2002. I cant say for years prior to thst, but im pretty sure the trend was the same. I do know right now 88m is Balanced (N/N) on calls, but it actually changes month to month so there is hope.
