Question
I recently a month ago got arrested for a entrapment of a OUI, how do I put this on my enlistment packet for MEPS and will it stop me?  Also I am getting married to my fiance who is a SGT in the Army will our previous divorces stop us in any way?  HOw much does debt from a previous marriage effect you enlisting?

Answer
You need to be honest on your enlistment packet, but if you haven't gone to court and gotten a final verdict on your case chances are very good that you wont be allowed to enlist. The Army will want resolution to your case first. Previous divorces and debt do not stop enlistment, however the debt may limit what jobs you can hold if it negatively impacts your ability to get a security clearance.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
