Question
i am 56 and would love to join the reserves am i too old???

Answer
Dear Rachel --

Yes 59 years of age is too old.  Unless you are a medical doctor, or a chaplain (minister) you will not be able to get a waiver for your age.  Currently the oldest allowable age to enlist in any service is 42.

Good luck to you.
