QUESTION: Thank you for your answer. You are always very helpful. What kind of security clearance is needed to become a Warrent Officer/Pilot? Also does my credit have to be perfect to get a security clearance? If not what on my credit will disqualify me from getting a security clearance to become a pilot?

Answer
You need at least a "Secret" security clearance to become a pilot. Your credit doesn't have to be perfect, but they will be looking into many different facets of your life during the security clearance check. Credit is one of them. Key things they look for would be old outstanding debts that you haven't made any attempt to fix and if you owe large amounts of money to people with no real way to pay it. They are always checking on these things and you will be asked questions during the application process so they can better understand whether or not you're a trustworthy individual.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
