Question
Can I join the navy and try out to be a navy seal with a aggravated menacing felony conviction? I was convicted at age 15, and I'm currently 15 right now. I was also convicted as a minor, NOT AN ADULT.

Donnie,
A felony is serious regardless of whether you're a minor or adult, so that part they could care less about.  Usually the Navy will grant a waiver for ONE felony if it's not something real serious.

Each Service receives a quota of waivers on October 1st of each year, so about now the quotas are probably used up.  Your best bet would be to wait until Oct 1st and be one of the first in line to request a waiver.  I know 4 months seems like a long wait, but you want the odds in your favor.
