Question
Sir, I have an Re-Code of 3 with an OTH. Ive read several different articles in regards to re enlisting. I have been told I can re enlist but need a waiver.
Ive contacted a few recruiters and they begin to help but then I dont hear any thing else from them. I would really love to re enlist. Any information regarding this matter would be appreciated

Answer
Well with both an RE code 3 and an OTH you canot reenlist currently. You need to apply to have both the characterization of your discharge and your RE codes upgraded to allow you to reenlist.  I will say that this is an uphill battle for you as you will need to show cause as to why you were unfairly given an OTH discharge or submit other mitigating evidence to show why you deserve another chance to serve. The link I am including gives a good overview as to how to go about this process. Just be patient and thorough.

Hope this helps.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
