Question
Hi Im thinking about being a Navy Seal I just want to know if you can tell me what their average day is like. And i would also like to know how much they get paid.
                                         Thanks,
                                          Caleb

Answer
Caleb,

Pay goes according to length of service and rank, with some bonus pay for being in Combat Zones, etc.

A brand new SEAL would make about $1,500 per month base pay, and additional pay for FreeFall $225, Dive $215, Demolition $150, Special Duty Assignment Pay $375, Housing allowance (depends upon rank %26 dependents).  So you can roughly say $2,500 per month for a beginner.

A day in the life of a Navy SEAL after training is complete and he becomes a full-fledged SEAL) always involves something new, and missions are assigned one minute, and they are on route the next. While most SEAL responsibilities and missions include clandestine missions and unconventional warfare in counterterrorism operations, they also serve needs in demolition and reconnaissance. Because SEAL teams train in a multitude of environments, including mountains, deserts, jungles, and even the Arctic, they are especially equipped in special tactics and procedures to ensure success.  They may be required to:  Conduct underwater reconnaissance and demolition, Carry out missions against military targets, Capture enemy personnel and terrorists, and Conducting both insertion and extraction missions from air, land, or sea.

Highly specialized training continues after graduation in a multitude of different fieldssuch as night swims, etc.  A SEAL may be ordered to help dispose of mines on beaches as well is within the ocean.  He must be prepared to take part in combat operations at the drop of a hat.  SEALs are also involved in gathering intelligence, performing reconnaissance, and engaging in counterterrorist operations.

Becoming a Navy SEAL requires a special type of individual.  Getting through the training process is only the beginning.
