Question
I am a prior marine with one njp. Joined army 11x haven't shipped to wtc yet but I was wondering if the njp would disqualify me for jump and ranger school. The njp was for "suposedly" falsifying a doctors note on a return to work date... The bs is --- I was back at my unit three days BEFORE the date!
My CO showed me the "falsified" document and the "true" one the doc faxed to the unit
again I was back three days before the true date!
My CO constantly gave me a hard time for whatever reason..
I hope to hell I can do this... I WANT TI BE A RANGER

Answer
Your company grade NJP shouldn't factor into anything when you joined the Army, so it shouldn't play a factor into your attempts at both ranger and jump schools. I doubt it even carries over from the Marines so just be a good Soldier, and work to get into both schools.. you shouldn't have much issue with jump school but may have to re-enlist to get Ranger school.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
