Careers: Military--Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines, Coast Guard/is it possible for me to join

Question
If my waiver for the Navy was denied because i have astigmatism, can i join the Marines or will i be denied because of the same reason? I already went through MEPS and was told i needed a waiver because my left eye loses focus if I'm not focused on anything for a long period of time. I had passed all the physicals and everything. I ask this because I was interested in both the Navy and Marines and want to know if i have a chance to get in before i call a recruiter and waist both of our time.

Scenica:

This one is sort of outside my area.  My best advice would be to actually contact the recruiter, since you've already been dQ'd by the Navy, and tell him/her what the situation is, and why.  Each service usually runs off of DoD guidelines but has their own criteria for certain things.   The only realistic way to get a 'no kidding' answer is to contact the recruiter directly.  (You won't be wasting their time I assure  you).

Expertise

Questions relating to US Marine Corps; rank, awards, uniforms, career choices. I can also help people spot and expose fakes (people pretending to be Marines or have awards they didn`t earn). Considering the Marines as a career? Or another branch, like the Air National Guard? Drop me a line. HOWever..know that I am NOT a recruiter. I can offer my expert opinion and advice, but can't (and won't) over rule what a recruiter says, they are the 'on duty' expert.
