Question
Currently, my son is enlisted with the marine corps reservist. He is in school & was trying to complete his B.A. before attending OCS. He explained to me that back in May 2008 his UA was positive for marijuana. I find it difficult to believe the USMC would allow this to go on for 2yrs now. Something is just not adding up....any suggestions?  Thank you.

That sounds a bit strange to me as well.  They might have NJP'd him and been done with it...but unless they just dismissed the entire thing I find it strange as well.  They can't just hold it until they decide they want to do something with it.    He sure isn't going to get into OCS if he had a hot test.

Field Radio Operator: MOS 2531. Served as a Platoon Sergeant in a Communications Platoon assigned to MEU Service Support Group 24 (Special Operations Capable). Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years. I"ve been collecting and selling Marine Corps and other military uniforms, medals, and field gear since I was 8 years old.
