Question
I know you have answered this question befor, but I'm going to MEPs in october to join the navy to be a Seal. What chances do I have of becoming a Navy Seal with Hypothyroidism that is controlled by medication? Thank You for your help I just want to know what to expect to hear when I go to meps.

As long as your Hypothyroidism is controlled with medication you may join the Navy.  However, the SEALs have their own medical regulations that is very strict.

FYI, SEALs do not hire guys who "walk in off the street," meaning new recruits like you.  They usually hire men who already have at least 4 years experience in the Navy and understands how the Navy in general operates.  That way they're sure all of their time and money spent training isn't wasted on somebody who may quit after their first enlistment.

If you're otherwise in the great condition it takes to be a SEAL I envy you.
