Hello Mark,

I am interested in information regarding separation from the Army Reserve.

I am currently a Chaplain  in the Army Reserves and am about 2 years into my contract. My question: Is it possible for me to cut my obligation short and walk away from the Army?

I have read some conflicting information and could use some clarity.

Kevin,
There's no easy way to get out, that wouldn't harm your career and record.  You'll be better off just serving out the restv of your commitment.  Look at a copy of the Army Times and look in the jobs section, or see your unit retention NCO.  He can help you also.
