Question
I'm a high school senior this year. I have a pretty good average and athletic activities in school.
I want to apply for West Point because I am eager to take responsibility as a American and also train myself.
However, I have lived in the U.S. for three years, and I am not yet a U.S. citizen. The West Point website says that students have to be U.S. citizens in order to apply.
So I want to ask is there any possible way I can apply to West Point?

Answer
The unfortunate thing is that you're not allowed regular admission to USMA unless you're a US citizen because the aim is to have you serve as an officer in the US Army afterwards; something that requires citizenship.  Depending on what country you're from, there are some slots that are for foreign exchange officer.  I don't know if that's something you'd want, but that's really the only other route aside from citizenship.

Expertise

I am currently an active duty Army Captain in the Military Police Field. I have been enlisted (Military Intelligence) and attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. I can answer questions related to the Army, posting, jobs, lifestyle, workings... pretty much anything you can throw at me with the exception of very specific recruting or medical questions. I have no expertise in what it takes to get in the military other than the fact that I, myself, joined at one point in time.

Experience

I have experience in both deployed and garrision environments as a Military Police Officer.

Education/Credentials
Bachelor of Science in Arabic and French from United States Military Academy at West Point.
