Question
Hi, my first question is that right now I am 33 years of age and will be turning 34 on May 25, 1977.....am I to old? Secondly, if I'm not, will a criminal record with 4 marijuana charges and two failures to appear hurt me. Thank you for your time i am trying to better myself, due to the fact i wasn't able to join when I was younger due to a surgery that no longer has any effect on me or my abilities.
Too old for which branch? At this point, only the army will accept you..and you'll need multiple waivers....you likely have far too many criminal convictions, in addition to the surgery which will also have to be waivered.
Speak to an army recruiter but I wouldn't mark your chances as being great at this point, sorry.

Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years.
