Question
If I receive an honorable discharge do I still keep my top secret clearance I received less than a year ago?

Breanna,
No.  In fact your clearance is job dependant. For example if you move from a position requiring a TS clearance to a job requiring only a Secret clearance, then your TS clearance is automatically downgraded to Secret (probably without you knowing it).  At the time of your discharge you will have a "debrief" that cancels your clearance completely.

Civilian companies often like to hire ex-military personnel who have held a TS clearance.  It usually means that person is capable of obtaining a TS again.
