Question
I am at my first duty station, and am being discharged under chapter 11. I have spoken with my 1sgt and CC, and it has been approved by them  and I am waiting for the paperwork to be sent to brigade. How long roughly can I expect the process to take, and is there anything I can do to help the process along, or at least track where my paperwork is. I hate being in "limbo". Also l, I am stationed in Korea. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Casey,
A Chapter 11 discharge means "Failure to Adapt."  They usually get processed fairly quickly because the point is they don't want you around.  It could be up to 2 months, but that's quick for the military.

No, you really can't track it yourself, so it'd be a waste of time trying.

Sorry it didn't work out for you, but thanks for your service.
