Question
Sorry, but that really didnt answer what I was looking for. I found this link: http://usmilitary.about.com/library/milinfo/afmedfly/blabdomen.htm

but I am really not sure what that list is for, like, is it things that prohibit you from, or are still eligable for aircrew, and also, what is Flying Class II and III? Thanks for your time,

-Erik

-----Question-----
Hello Sir, I am in the Air Force with almost 3 years in. I recently got diagnosed with Crohn's disease, and was wondering if you had served with anyone with this condition, and what happened to their careers.

I am up for an MEB in the future, and am currently on undeployable status. But am hoping to stay in, crosstrain, and hopefully get mobility status, maybe even aircrew status as I was set on becoming a Flight Engineer before this popped up. Thanks for your input,

Erik

Answer
Hi Eric,

The conditions shown are disqualifying conditions. In other words, if you have any of the conditions shown, it would require a medical waiver.

A Flight Class I medical requirements is for pilots (those actually in control of the aircraft). A Flight Class II medical requirements are for regular crewmembers, such as Navigators. Flight Class III requirements are generally for enlisted flight members.

Hope this helps!
