Question
Hello. Iv been trying to find something in the army that will keep me busy. I wasnt the smartest kid in school, so im kind of afraid to get a technical job, due to fear of failing. I learn more by doing, not studying. So im trying to find a job that fits me. Im now considering Infantry. Is the training and physical fitness of this duty more invigurating ? I know the push ups an sit ups i can handle, its just the running. I cant find any information on the the physical qualifacations of Infantry. Do you have any insight ?

Answer
Hi Travis,

I really wish I could help, but the truth of the matter is that there is no way that anyone, not me, not a recruiter, not anyone else can guess what military job(s) any particular person might find interesting.

Every single person has their own individual likes and dislikes.  A job that I might find fascinating, you may find boring to the extreme, and vice-versa.

A couple of articles that I've written that may help you decide:  "What the Recruiter Never Told You" at:  http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/joiningup/a/recruiter.htm and U.S. Military 101 at:  http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/generalinfo/a/military101.htm

These two articles may help you decide which service might be best for you, and what job you may find interesting.

Hope this helps!
