Question
I have a soldier who was promoted to E-6 in 1987.  he had complted PLDC and BNCOC phase 1 as that's all there was back then.  He then incurred a long beak in service (10 yrs) coming back in 11/2002 as an E-5.  My question is, does he have to attend the subsequent phases of BNCOC that they now offer, (he's a 63B) despite his 2a showing him as a BNCOC grad? Is he eligible for ANCO ?

Answer
Hi Pam,

As far as I can determine, if he's previously graduated BNCOC, then that still stands. He should be eligible for ANCO.

Your Unit Training NCO should be able to give you specifics.

Hope this helps!
