Question
IS IT POSSIBLE TO SWITCH FROM ACTIVE NAVY TO ACTIVE ARMY?

Answer
Dear Brent --

Yes, it is possible to transfer branches of service.

The application process is detailed.  You will have to be in an over-subscribed specialty in the Navy, and be willing to enter a shortage specialty in the Army.  You may have to give up some rank when you make the transfer.  That truly depends on how much the Army needs someone with your skills, compared to the rank you earned in the Navy.

Best of luck to you.
