Hello,
I am currently attending college, about 3 years in. I have an interest in joining the coast guard reserve. My question is do the coast guard reserves get deployed to iraq or any other country?

Most certainly they do, but not nearly to the extent of the other services.
The following article (http://usmilitary.about.com/od/coastguard/a/uscgwar.htm) is a little dated, but it does show that the Coast Guard does deploy members to combat zones.
