Question
I talked to a recruiter and he didn't give me a definite answer about my High Blood Pressure. I currently take 5mg of Lisinopril to keep my blood pressure down. I want to join the Officer program after college. I am exercising and eating more healthy to try and get it down even more and maybe i can come off it. I'm 6'3 and weigh 240. Thank you.

High BP is a disqualifier, and I believe taking meds to knock it down is also a DQ. You'll have to be off the meds and have normal/average bp to be accepted. Keep working on the better diet and whatever else you can to lower it.

Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years.
