Question
Hi, i just have a few questions about the Marines. I'm planning on becoming a scout/snipe for the Marines when i finish High School and i was wondering if i can join if i dont have a college degree and if i need to wear contacts to have 20-20 vision. Also, if i fail one of the tests to becoming a scout/sniper like i dont get a high enough marksman score can i just retake the test or is it over? thanks.

You should first concern yourself with completing Marine Corps recruit training, then the school of infantry, then applying to become a scout/sniper when you reach the Fleet Marine Forces. That's generally how the process works. You MUST have 20/20 uncorrected vision to apply to scout/sniper. You do not need a college degree. You MUST shoot "Expert" at the rifle range to be considered.

Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years.
