Question
which  is better the army, navy, airforce,or marines

Answer
Hi Duckson,

I wish I could answer your question, but there isn't any correct answer. It's like asking, "Which is better, apples, oranges, or grapes?"

None of the services are "better." They are different. What is "better" for you, may not be "better" to me. What is "better" for me," may "suck" for my friend down the street. Everyone one has their own particular likes and dislikes, and nobody can tell anyone else what is "best" for them (I don't know you, so I can't tell you that you would like an apple more than you would like an orange. How could I?)

All you can do is study the differences between the services and make up your own mind about what would be best for you, personally.  Fortunately, I have two articles which are designed for this purpose.

The first article is "U.S. Military 101," which describes the basic concept/mission differences between the services. The article is at: http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/generalinfo/a/military101.htm

The second is my article, "What the Recruiter Never Told You," which gives the basics of the services, plus what each service offers for enlistment (joining) benefits. This article is at: http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/joiningup/a/recruiter.htm

Hope this helps!
