Question
Ann and I have a neighbor who is a retired Lieutenant Colonel(Army).  Can you explain the ranks and this one in specific.  If you would I would love to have a listing from Private on up and how a person "makes" the next rank.  Obviously I am from a non military background and would apprectiate some basic information.
