Question
Hello Cynthia, My question is I was discharged with a other than honorable discharge with a RE-4. Is there a way, I get back into the military for engineering.

Answer
Dear Matthew --

An other than honorable discharge is difficult to overcome.  Unless you can show it was an inappropriate discharge and get the Military Board of Corrections to change your discharge classification, it is unlikely that any service will allow you to enlist again.

To get the most exact answer about your classification of discharge, you should check with a Marine recruiter.  You can contact one and pose your questions at this website:

Good luck to you.
