Question
I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 3. I am a NAC and feel I need to do more than what I am. I would like to enlist in the Army. I am 37 and finally know what I want to do with my life. Is it to late.

Answer
Dear Cynthia --

The current maximum age for enlistment is 40 years old.  I have heard of waivers up to the age of 42.  You must be physically fit, and healthy.  You will have to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery to test the military occupational specialties for which you might qualify.  You should have at least a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED).

If additional questions arise, please write back.  Good luck to you.
