Question
hey cynthia okay i took the asvabs three times i did alright on my first try, second time i didnt do so good, third time i did worse i just wanted to know if the army recruiter can take my highest score and let me go ahead and enlist in the army or not and if not do you know any books that are really good to help me prepare for the asvabs

Answer
Dear Jelissa --

You probably did poorly on the second and third ASVAB because you were mentally tired.  You should really only take the test once in a few weeks.  I recommend going to Borders Books or Barnes and Noble.  Both book stores have a large shelf of self-help books that cover the ASVAB and practice questions.  Another option is to take a course in test taking.  Since the ASVAB is a multiple choice test, there are test taking strategies to help you score better, even when you can only eliminate one or two of the wrong answers.

My cousin did well using the "ASVAB for Dummies" study book, but another book may be better for your learning style.  Good luck to you.
