Question
hello I'm going to a shooting range next week but I've never fired a gun before. The gun I will be using is an AK type rifle and I wanted to know any tips on how to properly fire the rifle.
I heard that breathing is part of it, but how does that work?
do i shoot when I inhale, exhale?
and just out of curiosity how does it apply to combat especially in urban combat where things happen so quickly, is there breathing control techniques that are used?

 An AK is totally different than a rifle, it's more of a point and spray weapon.  Do NOT think that this is anything like the marksmanship training you will get in the military, because this is a completely different type of system.

 The AK was originally designed for Russian army conscripts to fire 'en masse' and to be simple, effective, and easy to clean.  It's not a 'marksman' type weapon by any means.

Field Radio Operator: MOS 2531. Served as a Platoon Sergeant in a Communications Platoon assigned to MEU Service Support Group 24 (Special Operations Capable). Did a hitch in the Army reserves as an 11B (Infantryman), 3 years. Finished out my career in the Air National Guard as a BioEnvironmental Engineer MOS 4B3X1, did that for a few years. I"ve been collecting and selling Marine Corps and other military uniforms, medals, and field gear since I was 8 years old.
